Confirm that the image data scanned with the ScanSnap meets your requirements (for  
example, image reproducibility in size accuracy, fidelity, content, colors).  
Text Recognition  
z
Depending on the status of the document (e.g. font, layout, blots) and the scanning res-  
olution, text recognition may not be properly performed, or text recognition may take a  
long time.  
z
When there are sections marked with a highlight pen, the color of the marked section  
may not be accurately reproduced depending on the color and density, or may result in  
a different color tone from the original. Depending on the color and the color density of  
the highlight pen and the way it was used, the marked sections may not be detected, or  
the keyword may not be properly set.  
Disposing of the original document  
Check the image data using the application where you transferred the image data to make  
sure that there are no missing parts before disposing of the original document scanned with  
the ScanSnap.

ScanSnap. The scanned image can be saved as a PDF or JPEG file to a computer. All  
operations on the ScanSnap are managed in ScanSnap Manager.
